Tiny House Project

Why are people building/living in tiny houses? (there are many reasons)
What is the average cost?
What are the typical dimensions?
Where do people live in tiny houses?

Eventually, you will choose a reason you would build your tiny house. Be prepared to write a Personal Impact Statement.

Why are people building/living in tiny houses? (there are many reasons)
What is the average cost?
What are the typical dimensions?
Where do people live in tiny houses?

Why,why, why live in tiny houses? One big reason is that the cost of building a tiny house is very small compared to a normal american house. The average cost of a tiny house is between US$200-US$400 per square foot. Another reason is that tiny houses are ideal in situations where a person would want to move somewhere else. The person just puts it on wheels and drives the house to the new area, Instead of paying for plane tickets.  Living in a tiny house will also consume less electricity and less work cleaning. The last reason is that tiny houses are being built to help homeless people to have their own home.
Tiny house
Tiny houses work better with 1-4 people living in it, otherwise it gets too crowded.
The typical dimensions of a tiny house is usually 160 square feet if on wheels. When it is not on wheels a tiny house rarely exceeds 500 square feet.
In many places it is against the law to park a tiny house wherever you want. There are zoning regulations. However many exist throughout the US, states such as Washington, Texas and California in the countryside. There are also tiny houses built in different countries. So now would you like to live tiny?

Reasoning
Reasons, decisions on design, personal impact statement. My decision on my design of my tiny house was to keep my bed on the second floor so my first floor wasn't so occupied. My house looked strange because I had to make them the right measurements so after that it became weird.  It is good to build a Tiny house because you economize a lot. I think my house was small compared with my other class mates. Also I think I should have spent items that where nicer and more expensive. I economized a lot of money for other thing, I think the house is one of the most important things, (shelter). I should have used more the money I had. I should also have added a solar panel. It is good to have Tiny houses because it helps the environment. It is good for people that don't like loosing things like small houses and they live alone. Plus if you don't buy lot's of supplies for your house. For me it is better to have money then owe. Last but not least I would not love living in one because they aren't so spacious and it feels like the there isn't space maybe if you make you house all colorful it may look like it is bigger however it isn't. Last I really enjoyed this Tiny house project and I am up for more!

Como foi minha experiencia como um tradutor

Quando a Alyne Azuma veio foi uma experiencia boa. Foi uma classe que normalmente nunca íamos ter e foi divertido. Oi me diverti enquanto fazendo um trabalho. EU gostei de traduzir em português para inglês e inglês para o português. Traduzir foi em algumas partes difícil dependendo do que precisamos traduzir.

What is the theme of the City of Ember

I think the theme of the City of Ember is that everyone should help everyone and then that will make it better.  Also it could mean you have limited resources and you have to use it.

Humanities blogpost

TFF
In this quarter we have learned lots of new thing, I learned how to write historical articles we wrote many drafts of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire.  We also read historical articles About the TFF and also about the Bangladesh TFF final draft I read a book called Boys without names and that helped me on my reading skills and then for the use of sophisticated language.  With the discussion note catcher that helped me on working collaborate on our literature discussion and talking about the book.
Also I didn't enjoy so much poetry and now I like it because you have a freedom to write whatever you want. In the poetry portfolio I have my top 3 poems I wrote. I grew a lot on my poems, I use rhymes  Poetry portfolio.  I have learned in one big way and that is being a writer and a reader I am writing now longer essays also we have read many books like Ties that Bind Ties that break, out of bounds, Boys without name and Real Kids, real stories and Real changes.
We also learned about the pre industrial revolution and the industrial revolution also rural areas, incremental, subsistence cottage industry and agrarian society. The learning target that best fits me was 3.0 about writing a poem. Last I am willing to do more poems and do some more reading.

Once in a hundred years

1) Once in a Hundred Years
write explanation + photo of you on Pi Day

(1) Pi day only happens once in one hundred years because 3.14 is the month 3 of the year 14. It means it will only arrive back next 100 years.

this is my geogebra
2) How do we calculate pi?

write explanation+ your embedded PI Movie

(2)  The way to calculate PI is by doing circumference divided by the diameter. C=2 Pi Radius
Pi movie

3) How can we get a more accurate number for pi?
write explanation of Geogebra investigation + screen shots of your work + (picture of?) your chart from your math journal

This is the photo I tooked in PI day 3.14926...

(3) to get a more accurate number to Pi we should try 22/7 however that isn't exactly Pi so the number would be something like 22.314/7 to get more accurate.  Did you know someone memorized 22,514 digits in just over 5 hours and his name is Daniel Tammet. But we do not know when it ends. Scientists say it will never stop going, because Pi is rational

4) Why So Irrational?
discuss 22/7 as pi...what’s rational? what’s irrational?
What’s a good way to get an accurate pi?

(4)-    To get close to Pi we do 22/7 that will get us to 3.14285 that is close to 3.14. Irrational number is a number that never ends like Pi and Rational is a number that ends like 7.  The best way to get an accurate Pi is to use 3.14. rounding to the hundredths place is very accurate.

5) Why should we know about pi?
what’s it good for anyway? how is it used?

(5) We should know about Pi because astronauts use it also many scientists and mathematicians.  I ask myself why is it good for us I guess because first it is an irrational number.
