A photograph of your choice
I chose this photo that represents an elevator that we were going up to the higher area of the Rio Tiete. Bombs under the water made our boat rise. Also more water helps. I thought I was still in the same spot, the boat was not going higher. When actually it was almost in the top. It was amazing how fast it went. With about 200 people and a huge boat.

Juno Spacecraft makes earth flyby.
Title of article/video clip: Juno Spacecraft makes earth flyby.
Link to article or video clip: here
Who/What is the article about? (1-2 sentences)
|
The Article is about the Juno Spacecraft. Engineers want to make the spacecraft go to Jupiter by using new technology.
|
When and where did this story take place? (1-2 sentences)
|
NASA launched the spacecraft in August 5 of 2011 from Earth to the Solar System.
|
What happened that makes this important? (3-4 sentences)
|
This is important because NASA hopes to discover how Jupiter was formed and how it changed over time. Some of the questions are: how is it made, is there life, what is it made of. Also something important is that it will be hard to to take Juno off of the suns gravity force to the Solar System, because the suns gravity is too strong.
|
What is your opinion or viewpoint about this story? How does this story make you feel?
(3-4 sentences)
|
My opinion is that this subject is very exciting and that Juno will make a safely to Jupiter. The Juno spacecraft is big but when we see it from the computer it does not seem big at all.Juno goes 126,000 kilometres per hour to 140,000 kilometres per hour. Bolton the director said that the Spacecraft weighs about 3.6 tonnes. I am curious that we may find out what there is in Jupiter.
|
*****
Two Questions:
1. Do you wonder if Juno will got to Jupiter safely?
2. Would you like to go to Jupiter if it was possible?
